About
Hello! Thanks for being here.
Fine Art: In 2011 I received my degree in interdisciplinary art practices from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Much of my work is collage. The language of collage has stuck with me through the years since receiving my degree. It is spontaneous and specific. Flexible and unwavering. My most recent work utilizes the collage process among other active art making processes to explore space and formal relationships among visual components like color, scale, weight, and in the case of collage, context. The act of applying traditional materials, cutting and pasting collage material, and stepping back to try and understand what the work is telling me is deeply rewarding. I hope you find something here that you enjoy.
ASL-English Interpretation: In 2017, I received a degree in American Sign Language-English Interpretation. Since then, I have worked alongside some of the most skilled interpreters in the Chicago area as a freelance sign language interpreter with a BEI: Basic certification. Currently, I reside in Dallas, Texas working Video Relay Service and Video Remote Interpreting. I am actively in pursuit of my Advanced BEI status and National Interpreter Certification (NIC).
Please feel free to contact me with inquiries about commissions, Interpreting services, or any other questions.
